Social Media / Content Creation Internship - Position Now Filled
EQuerry / Co are looking for a content intern to join our strategic equestrian marketing agency and assist with some exciting projects!
The internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in general marketing planning and execution, with a focus on content creation and social media marketing. You will be working with a wide range of equine brands and athletes, so a passion and understanding of all things horses and equestrian sports is a must.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic about content creation and social media. The right candidate is highly self-motivated and keen to take the initiative, has ideas and will not wait to be told exactly what to do. Ideally, you are an active user of social media platforms, with an understanding of trends and how these can be implemented.
We don’t require applicants to have any previous work experience in this field, but a foundational understanding of Adobe programs such as Photoshop or Premier Pro would be a bonus. There may also be opportunities to attend events to assist our photographers, so experience in equestrian photography and/or videography would be a bonus.
The Role:
Content creation and curation for various social media channels.
Creation of content for e-mail marketing campaigns.
Community management on social media.
Research audience preferences and discover current trends.
Research influencers and partnership opportunities.
Be involved in diverse admin activities such as contacting suppliers on the CEO's behalf, liaising with partners, curating information on competitors, ideation for improvement of strategies.
Profile:
Reliable, diligent, detailed.
Creative flair and interest and a keen understanding of equestrian sports.
Strong written and spoken English skills (does not need to be native).
Knowledge of Adobe suite would be an advantage but is not required.
Category B driving license - not required but an advantage.

Hours: Flexible and negotiable, but would require a minimum of 15 hours per week, based on 3 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Internship length: A minimum of 6 months with the aim of you joining us permanently after 12 months.
