The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead, is one of the most renowned equestrian showgrounds in the UK, hosting numerous premier events each year which attract riders internationally to attend. The venue has been operating for over 60 years after opening its doors in 1960 and continues to host iconic events such as the famous Al Shira'aa Derby and Royal International. 

We have been supporting the Hickstead press and marketing team through the 2023 and 2024 seasons, with a member of the team working onsite in the press office to assist with campaign management surrounding the key summer events. Over the three-month competition period in 2023, we achieved a combined follower growth of 47.5k on Instagram and Facebook, with a combined reach of 39.3 million. The same period in 2024 continued the trend of increased follow growth and reach, supported by a total of 330k interactions and 176k profile visits across Facebook and Instagram.

These results included various posts which gained viral status, including the popular moment when Harriet Biddick lost her bridle whilst competing in the Speed Derby in the 2023 Al Shira'aa Hickstead Derby. Outside of social media, our efforts contributed to increased ticket sales, fulfilment of all sponsor obligations and a streamlined cross-channel marketing approach.
